There is absolutely nothing better than relaxing, having dinner, laughing, chatting and shopping with girlfriends on a Friday night after a long week of work!
When we are sitting around the table, gossip and chatter moves quickly and effortlessly from mouth-to-mouth. Escaping ever so gracefully all the girl secrets of life, love, body, + thought. Most of the time, here's the biggest secret....
...we laugh and laugh and laugh.
Then we do what any normal girl would do; we shop! First, we stop at our favs Vicky's, Abercrombie (yes, even the kids store), Hollister, Gap, Express.... we try on clothes--some look great, some are incredibly scary. Some make us feel sexy other's make us want to starve and regret our dinner decision. Some make us holler so loudly that we get horrific stares from other customers, most of whom clearly have never had this much fun!! We stare at the Hollister, California beach feed and wish we were there improving our tans--or lack there of. We move to shoes, strut the isles with hot shoes and then laugh over how ugly and ridiculous comfortable shoes look. Older women give us looks of shock as we walk up to the register with heels; they shake their heads. Did they forget what it feels like to have a completely fabulous, put-together, amazing outfit which includes matching accessories?
We finish the night a little better, a little hotter, and with the little wisps of gossip on our minds.
